SolidBerry

Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 8, 2026 · Last Updated: March 8, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SolidBerry browser extension and the supporting API service at api.solidberry.com (collectively, the "Service"). By installing or using SolidBerry, you agree to these Terms.

SolidBerry ("we", "us", "our") is operated by SolidBerry.

1. What SolidBerry Does

SolidBerry is a browser extension that helps you make informed buying decisions when shopping online. When you visit a supported product page, the extension runs five buying-decision checks:

  1. Reviews — Aggregates and summarizes third-party reviews
  2. Price Comparison — Finds the same product at other retailers
  3. Used/Refurbished — Finds used or refurbished listings
  4. Local Availability — Finds nearby stores that may carry the product
  5. Alternatives — Suggests comparable products

Results are displayed as a scorecard overlay on the product page.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use SolidBerry.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use SolidBerry. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. License and Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the SolidBerry browser extension for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You agree not to:

5. The Service Is Provided "As Is"

SolidBerry is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

SolidBerry is an informational tool, not a definitive source of product data. Check results are based on publicly available web data and AI-generated analysis, which may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Always verify important information directly with the retailer before making a purchase decision.

6. Third-Party Content and Links

The Service displays information gathered from third-party sources and provides links to third-party websites. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the accuracy of third-party content, product availability, pricing, or the privacy practices of linked websites.

When you click a link in the SolidBerry overlay, you leave our Service and are subject to the terms and privacy policies of the destination website.

7. Affiliate Links

Some links displayed in check results may be affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are disclosed in the extension interface in accordance with FTC guidelines.

Affiliate relationships do not influence the checks, scores, or rankings displayed by SolidBerry. All checks are generated algorithmically based on publicly available data.

8. Rate Limits and Fair Use

To maintain service quality and manage costs, daily product check limits apply. Checking the same product multiple times within the cache period does not count against your limit.

We reserve the right to adjust rate limits, temporarily restrict access, or suspend the Service if we detect abusive usage patterns.

9. Intellectual Property

The SolidBerry extension, API, scorecard design, check algorithms, and all associated content, trademarks, and branding are the property of SolidBerry and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Product names, brand names, logos, and other trademarks displayed in check results belong to their respective owners.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SolidBerry and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

12. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using SolidBerry at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. Sections 5, 6, 10, 11, and 15 survive termination.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SolidBerry regarding the Service.
